Jack Sheng, President and Principal Scientist, is co-founder of QSpec Technology. He received his Ph.D. degree from the acclaimed California Institute of Technology. He was introduced to the SIMS technology while a graduate student at Caltech, using it to explore the isotopic identities of exotic early solar system materials. After graduation in 1991, he joined the SIMS group of Charles Evans & Associates, where he had played a key role in the SIMS analytical services. With over ten years hands on experience with the dynamic SIMS instrument, he has provided scientists and engineers from various disciplines with valuable information for their research, process development and process control.
